Greetings Travelers;

Winter hours for the DuBeau hostel will take effect beginning Sunday October 19th. The main hostel building will be closed on weekdays from Sunday at 3pm to Friday at 3 pm. On select weekends the main hostel building will reopen at 3pm on Fridays and close at 3 pm on Sundays, based on demand and holiday dates. Our sister hostel, the Grand Canyon International Hostel, is open 365 days a year. We will continue to offer accommodation at the DuBeau when the Grand Canyon Hostel is full, although all services (with the exception of 1 kitchen and laundry facilities) will be available at the Grand Canyon Hostel only.

The DuBeau and Grand Canyon Hostels will be hosting a Thanksgiving Day feast at the DuBeau facility on Thursday November 27th (the hostel will be open for that weekend for sure). It will be a festive gathering with plenty of yummy food and friendly travelers. There will be a sign up sheet at the Grand Canyon Hostel if you are interested in joining us. The cost for the meal will be $9 per person; this will not include beverages. You can bring your own wine, beer or non-alcoholic drink of your choice. We hope to see you there!

Whether you choose to stay one night or several, we’re sure you’ll remember  the Dubeau as one of  the coolest hostels in America!

"Get your kicks" at the DuBeau Route 66 International Hostel. You won't want to miss this fun and friendly place! It's been recognized by the Lets Go guide as one of the best, and it is without a doubt one of the cleanest hostels around! It's located in the heart of downtown Flagstaff, surrounded by loads of pubs, restaurants and shopping, and is only 85 miles (137 km) from one of the seven wonders of the world...the awesome Grand Canyon!

The entire facility has been stylishly renovated with 1950's decor. You might just find Marylyn Monroe or Elvis Presley "hangin around" in the old fashioned party room, where the jukebox cranks out the tunes and FREE foosball and pool tables entertain hostel guests. Other amenities include a non-smoking lounge with fireplace, laundry, 2 kitchens, high speed internet and FREE Wi Fi.

Accommodations include both dormitory rooms and private doubles. Each room has comfortable beds with fresh linen, a new bathroom and a compact refrigerator. A FREE tasty breakfast is served every morning from 7 - 10 am and there is FREE tea and coffee available all day.

The hostel also offers affordable tours to the Grand Canyon (only $70.00) and Sedona (only $50.00). You'll enjoy fun, full day excursions in our comfortable 15 passenger vans, with friendly and knowleadgable tour hosts. These tours are definately the cheapest around!
